Bob Greene, Oprah’s personal trainer, has worked with EA Sports to develop the fun and fitness behind the Wii console game EA Sports Active. This new Wii exercise game was designed for results! With resistance bands and other accessories, this kit is a great way to start off your New Year’s resolution—just plug, play and work out!
Like the original Wii Fit game for the Wii console, the EA Sports Active video game utilizes the Wii Fit Balance Board (though not included in this set), but is not necessary to enjoy the full results of this intense fitness routine game. Included with the EA Sports Active game are some extra accessories to enhance the game and help get you fitter, faster! There is a controller leg strap that comes with the set and allows you to slip the nunchuck in the pouch and lets the controller pick up your moves, making squats and cardio boxing detectable to the Wii console. You also receive resistance bands that work with your Wii controllers to help build muscle and increase intensity of your workout.
Just like the Wii Fit, My Fitness Coach, and the Biggest Loser Wii exercise games, you have a person trainer to help you through your path to perfection! With your personal trainer, you can set up a profile with your age, weight, and fitness goals, and workouts can be adjusted according to your fitness schedule and workout goals.
Included in the EA Sports Active Wii game is the 30 Day Challenge, which tailors a 20 minute workout according to your fitness goals, intensity needs and calorie calculations, and gives you a full workout along with tracking your progress. Even if you do a workout outside of the game, there is a journal where you can enter additional workouts and follow your journey to a more fit you!
What’s great is that the whole family can get into working out with the EA Sports Active Wii game for the Wii console. With two player, co-op mode, you can work together with a friend or family member for that positive motivation and support that everyone needs during their daily workouts.
So don’t just assume the game is for one person in the family—the entire household can enjoy this exercise game together, competing together and working together to meet their goals. And who doesn’t want to get in shape these days?
